COMMUNITY
We are dedicated to reaching out to the community as much as possible. The following are different outreach committees we currently have at St. Mark.
Saturday's Bread Community Meal
This free meal began to help serve the community and bring them in for fellowship and food. We serve the third Saturday of the month beginning at noon. We meet to prep between 9-9:30 am. We are looking to expand this mission.
Crossroads Crosses
This ministry began at our sister church Grace Lutheran and is the baby of Brian Pratt. He gets together with members of the congregation and the Cantalician Center to make stained glass crosses. Each cross has a piece of paper with a message on it. Stay tuned for more details of upcoming dates.
Food Pantry
We are just re-starting this ministry and are hoping that we can involve the members of the community to help in working this outreach.
Prayers
We are committed to reaching out to the community to help and heal. If you need special prayers please contact the church secretary and we will add you to our prayer list. We are working on putting a mailbox out by our lending library for the community to put their prayers in and we will lift them up on the following Sunday
